Where the monorail wins

East-side Strip legs (Caesars to MGM and back), commuting to the convention center from Westgate, and midday transfers during a heat wave. The line runs behind the Strip's east edge, out of street crowds, and never stops for traffic.

Where it does not

West-side resorts (Bellagio's tram is free and the Caesars Palace station connects inside the block), and the airport — the monorail ignores it. Buy from an online vendor or your hotel concierge: kiosk single-ride prices sit above the online rate.

Sort the stay before the extras

The hotel is the biggest line in the budget. Lock it early at a live checkout page, then plan the fun around it.
